Mr. Jacobs has been teaching American and World History at Northmont High School since 2016. Prior to teaching at Northmont, he taught Social Studies at Lakewood High School near Columbus. 

Mr. Jacobs earned his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Ohio University and his master's degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University. 

In addition to teaching, Mr. Jacobs serves as a class advisor for the class of 2021. 

Mr. Jacobs served in the Army for six years and is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

Mr. Jacobs and his wife have four children.
