My full name is Mick Lopez.  My mom was a huge Rolling Stones fan so, yes, I was named after Mick Jagger.  I've been teaching for nine school years as an Intervention Specialist.  Prior to teaching, I was a social worker for ten years, so this is my second career.  I have a daughter and a son.  Aside from teaching me about love, patience, and sacrifice they also take up most of my time when I'm not at school.  When I do have spare time I enjoy playing and watching sports, reading, and traveling.
