Ms. McInnes has an Ohio Comprehensive Science teaching certificate since 1988.  In addition, she holds a BS in Applied Microbiology from Bowling Green State University, and an MEd in Classroom Teacher--Science from Wright State University.  Although Ms. McInnes has taught multiple science courses, her main concentration is in the Physical Sciences: Chemistry and Physics.  Ms. McInnes joined Northmont in 2000.  She coached Northmont High School's Science Olympiad team from 2014 - 2019, taking the team to the State Competition each year.  She lives in the Northmont District with her dogs.  Her son participated in Northmont's Music and Theater programs as well as Boy's Volleyball, before graduating in 2015 and going on to Miami University.  Ms. McInnes has Bolt Spirit and enjoys supporting the students endeavors throughout the Northmont District.
