I am currently teaching CPR & First Aid/Basic Health here at Northmont High School.  I am also one of the Athletic trainers here for athletics.  Athletic training is practiced by athletic trainers who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients.  Athletic training encompasses the prevention, evaluation and intervention of emergency, acute and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations and disabilities. Athletic trainers are state licensed healthcare providers. 

I began teaching and practicing as an Athletic Trainer in 1993 in Springfield City Schools as well as Clark State Community College.  I moved to Huber Heights City Schools in 2000 and then had an opportunity to come to Northmont City Schools in 2005.  I have lived in the Northmont school district since 1995 when we decided to move here so that our three children could attend Northmont city schools.  It is a pleasure and an honor to teach and work here at Northmont where the faculty and students are second to none!
